URGENT APPEAL!
SWAB A CHEEK ... SAVE A LIFE
Jonathan Haupt, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia, an aggressive blood cancer, in March, 2009.
He is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant to save his life and there are currently NO matches on the worldwide registry. Jonathan, is of European Jewish descent, and there is a higher likelihood that his match will have the same ethnicity. Therefore, we are asking everyone to encourage anyone you know to register as bone marrow donors at the upcoming bone marrow drive we are hosting at the Jewish Learning Center, and to invite your friends and family to do the same.
Potential donors must be between the ages of 18-55 and in good general health to register. A simple cheek swab is all it takes to join the registry, and possibly save Jonathan's life or someone else just like him.
One simple cheek swab can bring us closer to finding the perfect match for Jonathan. Please pass the word to your friends, family, so we can maximize the attendance at our bone marrow donor drive.
